CQI Medical Laboratories SIG

The Medical Laboratories SIG aims to discuss contemporary issues related to the quality management practices in the field. The group intends to provide a platform to share ideas, and common challenges in BS EN ISO 15189 implementation.

Scope


The Medical Laboratories Special Interest Group aims to hold regular meetings that offer topics of interest to medical laboratory quality professionals.  Topics include implementation challenges, case studies, theoretical concepts, and discussions relating to specific subclauses in BS EN ISO 15189.  


Background


The Health Special Interest Group was established in 2022 and have since been bringing quality professionals from healthcare, medical devices and medical laboratories together.  The Health Special Interest Group became the Medical Laboratories Special Interest Group in 2023 to serve a growing number of quality professionals who are interested in the implementation of BS EN ISO 15189
